Equipment...
Let's face it- anybody can go out and buy or hire DJ equipment and call themselves a DJ. Unfortunately, not many people have the experience, talent and skills to use those tools effectively at an event. Although top quality equipment is critical for reliability and effect, it is the operator who makes the difference. You wouldn't hire a builder to build your house based on which brand of hammer he used!
You can be rest assured that I use top of the range equipment this is for three reasons:
1. Reliability: My equipment is used week in week out and thus I need be confident that when I arrive at a venue that it will work.
2. Presentation: You will have spent both time and money ensuring that your chosen venue looks great for your function. It is for this reason that we use smart equipment that compliments its surroundings.
3. Performance: By purchasing quality equipment I know that my sound system will have great clarity, yet offer plenty of punch when required. My lightshow will also both fill the room with vibrant colors and can be controlled by myself for optimum effect.
All of the equipment used by us is under 2 years old and is PAT (Portable Appliance Tested) on a yearly basis. Certain venues may wish to see a copy of our PAT certificates.
For your peace of mind we carry a back up of all of the essential items that we use such as CD players and thus if for any reason an item wasn’t working your DJ would have a standby unit on-site. Due to the quality of the equipment purchased we have never had a piece of equipment fail on us yet!
For those of you who are interested in, or have a knowledge of disco equipment, we use a Mackie sound system and all of our lighting is manufactured by EVL, ACME and Martin. We also use Pioneer and Denon CD Player's.
Projector & Video Screen...
The projector and screen we use for our video disco and presentation packages was carefully chosen to provide the best possible picture clarity and convenience for your event.
The projector we use is an, "NEC WT615", and has a rated brightness of 3500 output lumens (that's bright!). It is also unique because it can be placed only half a metre in front of the screen to make an 80 inch picture. This means we can keep our setup compact and your guests won't be tripping over a projector in the middle of the dance floor! It also means that you avoid the shadow created when somebody walks in between the projector and the screen.
